Job Title: Multi Skilled Operative
Hours of Work: Part time – Full time
Role Purpose:
To facilitate the storage, picking, and distribution of stock, ensuring efficient warehouse operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure stock picking adheres strictly to pick logic and FIFO rules, minimizing short shelf-life stock.
- Continually inspect all stock to identify non-conformance or damage.
- Perform routine inventory checks as required.
- Communicate effectively with team members, management, and other departments to achieve service goals.
- Escalate shortages of stock, damages, or short shelf-life items promptly.
- Foster a collaborative work environment, demonstrating flexibility across various tasks at FitCookie.
- Maintain high standards of hygiene and housekeeping.
- Conduct pre-start-up checks on mechanical handling equipment and promptly report any faults or damages.
- Maintain Health & Safety standards through safe working practices and the use of “Near Misses” to prevent accidents.
- Undertake all necessary training to fulfill job duties.
- Contribute to “Job Chats” for performance feedback and self-development opportunities.
- Fulfill any other reasonable managerial requests.
