Afternoon Tea Scone Cooking Instructions:
- preheat your oven to 230C/220C gas Mark 7
- Empty the contents of your Free & Easy Scone Mix ina. Bowl, add the egg, oil and milk and stir until the mix comes together
- turn out onto a lightly dusted surface and roll with a rolling pin which has also been lightly dusted, roll out to the thickness of 2cm and cut with your cutter
- place scones on the prepared baking tray, and brush with milk. Place the tray in the oven and bake for 10 minutes (cooking times vary a little depending on your oven). They are ready when they are golden brown on top and when you tap the base of the scone, it sounds hollow
- cool for a while and dive in!
